Cuddly Comforters was inspired by my son Ben whose grandparents bought him a baby comforter when he was 4 months old. He took to it very quickly and I was amazed to see how his comforter became such a key part of his life first as a baby and then as a toddler. The comforter went everywhere with us and he often had a quick cuddle or chew if he needed comfort and reassurance, especially if he was away from mum and dad. Since being a few months old, he always settled easily for daytime and nighttime sleep, and I am certain that this was, in no small part, thanks to his comforter.
Ben is now a grown up 6 year old and, although his comforter doesn't play such a large part in his life anymore, it still holds a place in his heart. His little sister Katy, now 4, and getting ready to start school often still sleeps with her head on top of her comfort blanket on top of her pillow but in the way of most 4 year olds, insists that she has to have the patterned side up otherwise it's not right! They have both slept with Cuski pillows and I find these especially good for added comfort when we go camping.
I've become a firm believer in the important part that a comforter can play in both the early months of a newborn baby and in the development and confidence of an older baby or toddler. And, as we all know, happy children make for happy parents.
